Harold Kallicott, age 88, died June 16, 1999 at Providence General Medical Center.
He was born June 9, 1911, in Snohomish County, WA. He was born of Norwegian descent. His parents, Knute and Serena Amdahl Kallicott were pioneers of the East Sunnyside Community. He was an 8th grade graduate of the Sunnyside School and worked as a millwright for Howard S. Wright. In retirement, he split and stacked a cord of wood a week until he physically couldn't continue. He will be remembered for his work ethic, straightforwardness, sense of humor and interest in his family. He was very proud of his Carpenter's Union #565 membership of 50+ years.
Survivors include his son Arthur; his wife Gail and their children Lisa, Marcia & Steven; son Alan and his children Dennis, Gary & Julie; daughter Edythe Pavish and her children Jessican and Kimberly; daughter-in-law Pam Kallicott and seven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 21 1999 at 3:00 p.m. at Purdy & Walters w/Cassidy Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park next to his childhood sweetheart and wife Eva Skucy, who predeceased him in 1955.
