Larry Decker og Elaine Twait giftet seg i 1961 fikk tre barn. De to første døde etter få dager: Barry Decker og Judilyn Decker. Deres andre datter Kathy Ann Decker ble 35/36 år (1966-2002)
Larry giftet seg med Dolores etter han ble enkemann i 1996.
I sine siste år slo han følge med Dorothy Sollmann fra Zephyrhills, Pasco County, Florida.

Larry Decker passed away Feb. 23, 2012, in Zephyrhills. He was born Sept. 15, 1935.
He is survived by his son, Brian (Barb) Decker; three grandchildren, Bradley, Jennifer and Joseph; one sister, Nancy (Gordon) Brown; and many nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his first wife, Elaine; three children, Kathy, Barry and Judilyn; twin brother, Terry; parents, Clarice and Allan Decker; and second wife, Dolores.
His last years were enlightened by the company of Dorothy Sollmann of Zephyrhills and her family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and loved him.
There will be a memorial visitation from 2-5 p.m., with the memorial service at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home, 13160 W. Route 34, Somonauk, IL 60552. He will be buried at Leland Cemetery the following day.
