Services held for Ida Klingsheim
Funeral services for Ida Klingsheim of Lime Springs were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, January 30 at the United Methodist Church in Lime Springs. The Rev. Gerald Smith and Rev. Russell Brown officiated. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lime Springs. Lindstrom Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Ida, 84, died Monday, January 24, 2000
On April 8, 1939 she married Berner Klingsheim at Decorah. They farmed on the family farm all their married life and Ida remained there after the death of Berner in 1978.
Survivors include one daughter Beverly Geffert of Carver, MN; two grandchildren; three sisters: Aletha Carlson of Winona, MN, Helen Raaen of Preston, MN and Hildegarde Klingsheim of Wykoff, MN (Hildegarde er svigerinne, ikke søster); and two brothers: Ingvald Hongerholt of Brooklyn Center, MN, and Joe Hongerholt of Williston, ND.
Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Berner, and a brother: Sidney.

Ida Klingsheim, 84, sister of Wykoff woman. Ida Hongerholt was born Sept. 15, 1915, in Minnesota and married Berner Klingsheim April 8, 1939 in Decorah, Iowa. They farmed and she remained on the farm after he died in 1978.
She is survived by a daughter, Beverly (Mrs. Ivan) Geffert of Carver, Minn.; two grandchildren; three sisters, Aletha Carlson of Winona, Helen Raaen of Preston and Hildegarde Klingsheim of Wykoff (Hildegarde er svigerinne, ikke søster); two brothers, Ingvald Hongerholt of Brooklyn Center, Minn., and Joe Hongerholt of Williston, N. D.
The funeral for Ida Klingsheim was Sunday at the United Methodist Church in Lime Springs with the Revs. Gerald Smith and Russell Brown officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lime Springs.
Lindstrom Funeral Home in Lime Springs was in charge of arrangements.
